One casserole per month is prepared in your home to be sent to the St. Patrick's Center in St. Louis to help feed the homeless. There is a designated recipe and the pans and lids are furnished. Casseroles are delivered from the parish office two Fridays per month. They are to be frozen, so they can be brought to the church office any time during the work day, or on the Friday morning that they are delivered between 7:00-8:30 a.m.
By serving in the St. Patrick's casserole ministry you can see how it helps people to make a change in their lives and get off the streets.
This ministry needs more people because the people that are doing the casserole are mostly elderly and cannot keep up with it. Many of the people have been doing it for 27 years since it started. There are some new younger people, but not enough.
