GROUNDSKEEPING

We try to keep the grounds looking good by cutting the grass, trimming the shrubs and raking the leaves. And we are always in need of new people to help with this tremendous task.

The Parish Council is the advisory board for the parish community, working in cooperation with the pastor and other parish staff in setting strategic direction, policies, goals and objectives for the parish. Members serve a three-year term. If you are called to participate, please prayerfully consider this important work.

EL CORO (HISPANIC MUSIC ENSEMBLE)

LIFELINE

Come spend the last Tuesday of each month with the Lord through Eucharistic Adoration, praise music, and inspirational words. 7-8 p.m. Contact Barb Bott at 636-947-3939.

CHOIRS

Serving in the choir ministry is a gift to give to yourself. Our choir is a community within the larger parish family, sharing the bond of music. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is the first and third Mondays after the conclusion of 7 a.m. Mass. Benediction is at 6 p.m. If you can continuously commit to an hour on the first or third Monday of each month, call Harriet Pallardy at 636-947-1701 or email Joyce Cain at joyce.cain@gmail.com.

Christ Renews His Parish emphasizes continued growth in the Catholic Christian life. CRHP is a two-day retreat with time for listening, prayer, fellowship and celebration of our loving God and Savior. Women’s and men’s weekends are held separately.

Our Hispanic Ministry hosts Emaus retreats to allow parishioners a time to grow in their faith and in their faith communities.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS

The Parish Picnic is the first weekend in October. This total parish effort in the fall is one of the primary fundraisers for the parish, as well as the individual organizations taking part in its planning and execution.

DINNER AUCTION

This biennial fundraiser consists of a Silent and Oral Auction with items donated by local businesses, parishioners, and others in our community. It is a wonderful time to raise money for the parish, enjoy an elegant evening of delicious food and fellowship, and take home treasured items at the same time. Click here for more information.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

Held annually since 1995 and now named in honor of Joe Hensley, one of the original organizers, the profits from this fun day directly benefit the programs and services offered at our parish. LADIES SODALITY

GRIEF MINISTRY (SEASONS OF HOPE)

MEALS IN TIMES OF CRISIS

PRAYER SHAWLS

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

SVDP assists people within our parish boundaries in need of food, utility and rental assistance, medicine, housing and miscellaneous services. We are funded, to a great extent, by the generous contributions of our parishioners. If you would like to assist this ministry, call our hotline at 636-925-1616.

TRANSLATING HISPANICS

MINI VINNIES

PRAYER TREE

The Prayer Tree has over 175 parishioners who pray for your intentions. Prayer requests are emailed to prayer tree members as they are received so that prayers can be lifted up in a timely manner. ST. PATRICK CENTER CASSEROLES

One casserole per month is prepared in your home to be sent to the St. Patrick’s Center in St. Louis to help feed the homeless. Casseroles are frozen, so they can be brought to the church office any time during the work day, or early on the Friday morning that they are delivered. Contact Ann Wappelhorst at dawapp@att.net.

VISITING THE SICK & HOMEBOUND

TOTUS TUUS

Totus Tuus is a youth program (Latin for “totally yours”) that aims to bring young people into a relationship with Christ and His Church for lifelong discipleship. The day program is open to rising 1st-6th graders. The evening program is open to 7th-12th graders.
